These terms govern your use of the JapanMarket website and any purchase you make from it. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Shipping Policy and Return Policy, which form part of these terms.
Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Product photography is supplied by our suppliers and manufacturers; colours can vary slightly between screens, and packaging may be updated by a brand without notice. Where a product is described as made in Japan or as a Japanese brand, that reflects the information given to us by our supplier.
Pricing and availability
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and may change without notice. Availability is not guaranteed until your order is accepted. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and refund any order affected by an obvious mistake.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where we cannot fulfil it, where an item is mispriced, or where we suspect fraud — and will refund you in full if we do.
Age and eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your country to order from us. Cosmetic and skincare products are intended for normal adult use.
Skincare and cosmetics
Skincare, sunscreen and cosmetic products are sold for cosmetic use and are not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Always patch test a new product, read the manufacturer's directions and ingredient list, and stop use if irritation occurs. If you have a skin condition, allergies, or are pregnant, speak to a qualified professional before use.
Electrical items
Some products, such as heated lunch boxes, are electrical. Check the plug type and voltage suit your country before use, and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Use an appropriate adapter or transformer where needed.
Intellectual property
Brand names and trade marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell. The site's own text, layout and design belong to JapanMarket and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any statutory consumer guarantees available to you. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you order is the version that applies.
